EYFS Unit

Reception and pre-school children (3-5 years old) are taught together in a new, purpose built Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit. The unit provides free-flow outdoor access all day but we also make good use of the woodland area and fields within the school grounds.

Staff

Willow class is taught by a team of experienced qualified teachers and practitioners. We usually work the following days but we do sometimes swap to cover absence and illness.

Mrs Mcfadyen

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Mrs Scrafton

Miss Richardson

Miss Skipworth

Miss Culham

Other members of staff, students and volunteers can be found in Willow class at different times during the week.

We are happy to meet with parents to discuss any matters relating to your child and we ask that parents/carers arrange a mutually convenient time with staff at end of the school day.

PE

We have a timetabled PE session in the hall every Friday. Reception children need a named school PE shirt, black shorts and a pair of plimsolls in a drawstring bag. We ask for these to be kept in school incase we need to change our PE session. We will return them at the end of every half term for washing. Please ensure everything is named!

Wonderful Writing in Willow Class!

The children in Willow class have been producing some fabulous independent writing during their self-directed play...we had to put up a new display to show it off!
