Maths

At home you can practise the following:

 

Counting to 50, then 100.  Forward and back.

Counting in 10s to 100.  Forward and back.

Counting in 2s to 20.  Forward and back.

Saying the number that is one more and one less than any number to 50.

Adding and subtracting one and two digit numbers to 20.

 

Measuring things in cm and comparing lengths.  e.g. longer, shorter, longest, shortest.

Weighing ingredients for baking and using language associated with weighing

e.g.heavier, lighter, heaviest, lightest

Telling the time.  Half past and o'clock

Naming 2d and 3d shapes.
