Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection at Caistor Church of England and Methodist Primary School.

The inspection recognised the many strengths of our school community and confirmed that our Christian vision is truly lived out in all aspects of school life:

“We believe that all members of our school community can flourish as learners and as fulfilled individuals. We will provide rich opportunities for learners to engage and expand their world views, both collaboratively and independently. With joy in our hearts, we are inspired to make positive change in the world.”

The inspector praised how our values of Love, Respect and Courage are embedded throughout the school and highlighted that “Caistor Church of England and Methodist Primary School is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.”

We are especially proud that the report recognised:

• The strong and effective leadership across the school.
• The caring and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• The positive impact of collective worship in promoting peace, joy and belonging.
• Pupils’ understanding of justice, responsibility and making a difference in the world.
• The rich range of opportunities beyond the classroom that help pupils grow socially, spiritually and emotionally.

The report also celebrated the enthusiasm of our pupils, the strength of relationships across the school community and the positive partnerships we share with families, churches and the wider community.

As part of the inspection process, development points were identified to help us continue improving. These include:

• Further developing planned opportunities for spirituality across the curriculum.
• Enhancing pupils’ understanding of the diversity within religions and worldviews through Religious Education.

We welcome these next steps and are committed to continuing our journey of growth and development.
