Summer term resources
Due to the extended closure of schools we have prepared some extra work. This is only for children and parents who wish to use them.
There is an overview for the term, alongside resources for up to half term. If it becomes necessary we will add extra resources.
At this time the priority should be reading and basic maths skills. We appreciate not all children will be able to access and complete this extra work. Any form of learning you choose to do at home is valuable.
UPDATE:
On our suggested 12 week outline, our maths planning follows the White Rose Maths online 12 week plan and encourages you to use the videos and work sheets that they provide to make practicing your basic maths skills more interactive. Unfortunately, after this week, you will only be able to access the learning videos for free unless you subscribe and pay for the premium resources.
However, if you wish to continue using the videos to support your child in maths, I will be able to direct you to alternative resources that fit with the videos that your children will be using. To correspond with each of the units and objectives that White Rose have on their planning, Twinkl have a set of 'DivingDeeper' resources that help children practice their skills and extend their learning. Twinkl are currently offering a 1 month free access to their resources for parents via this link and code, that you can use should you wish to use the resources.

Once you have accessed the site, you must search for your child's year group, the unit that they are working on and the name of the video that they are currently/will be using. (E.g. Year 6 Fractions Multiplying fractions by fractions). They will then provide you with a learning pack that you can download and use with a powerpoint, questions and an answer sheet.
If you are unable to find the correct resources, follow this link https://www.twinkl.co.uk/resources/white-rose-maths-resources scroll down, and select the unit from your child's year group. It may be a unit that has been taught earlier in the year as White Rose are encouraging revision of the key skills.
On the White Rose home learning page, you can select your child's year group to see the videos.

If you are unsure of which unit your child is on, or would like to know about future units in order to download further resources you can access their 12 week plan on their website at the following link:

If you have any questions or are unable to access these resources, please contact myself and I will be able to assist.

We also encourage you to use the https://www.thenational.academy/online-classroom resources to support with maths, among other things, if you aren't using White Rose or other resources already.
Home learning Information:
In light of the recent developments regarding the Coronavirus, we will be providing a home learning work book and various resources that the children can access from home, in the event of a school closure. Below are all the resources listed in our workbook.
Links to useful pages
I will keep adding relevant links and pages that might be useful to this section:
| White Rose Primary Schemes of learning. | |
| Here you can access the White Rose Planning, for each unit for each year group. On the year timetable, if you highlight over it, each unit will stand out and you can select it and download the document. | |
| Home Learning - White Rose Lessons | |
| White Rose have uploaded sets of lessons that you can watch and use with your child. Feel free to move them onto the next year group if you feel this would be useful or helpful. | |
| Twinkl White Rose Mastery Resources | |
| Twinkl provides extra 'deepening' resources for each objective within each unit. The 3 different symbols represent the 'depth' of knowledge. Children can work through all the resources for each objective. Some they may have seen before, as we use select ones at school, but it won't do them any harm to do them again! |
